For beach lovers

Périgord Vert is a relatively water-rich region with many rivers, springs and lakes. Hence the green character, also during the summer. La Moulinasse is located in the basin of the meandering but quiet river Dronne. Between the many twists and turns and river arms, there are numerous beaches, fishing and recreational opportunities. Near La Moulinasse you have the little beaches of Saint-Aulaye and Aubeterre-sur-Dronne.

Also nearby and with a real sandy beach you have "le Grand Etang de la Jemayee": a large, wooded lake with a guarded swimming area, playground, catering and in summer all kinds of activities such as rowing, stand-up paddle, ... And for those who want to stretch their legs before taking a plunge: a largely unpaved path leads around the lake
